Before or after school yoga and mindfulness programs provide the opportunity for teens and younger children to “dive deeper” into yoga and mindfulness practices in a smaller and more private setting. Perfect for a non-competitive option for extracurricular activities and with zero pressure to “perform” at a specific level. KinKou Yoga is a registered Active Kids Provider and is also registered with the NDIS.
A regular yoga practice for teenagers allows them to focus and concentrate better, gives them tools and strategies for managing stress and anxiety, promotes better sleep, helps to regulate moods and to deal with difficult emotions. Along with this, yoga poses and stretches help a growing body adjust to the varying rates of bone and muscle growth, increases flexibility and coordination, promotes better posture, improving strength and increasing fitness.
Private and semi-private yoga classes are available for adults, children, teens or families. Through private classes, your yoga class is specifically tailored to your own individual needs and wants.
4:30-5:30 pm Wednesdays.
Term 1 commences 3 February, with our last class being 24 March (8 week term).
Class sizes are strictly limited to just 12 participants.

Fees for Term 1 2021 are just $100 (Active Kids Vouchers Accepted)
Class places are confirmed upon registration and receipt of payment/Active Kids Voucher.
Each of our classes is accessible for beginners through to experienced – the focus is on you taking the yoga and mindfulness practice where you want or need. Learn to take control of what you need, and what’s in your best interests and what’s not. Give yourself, your child and your family some time and space for calm, grounding and balance, improve your focus and concentration, learn some healthy ways to manage stress and anxiety, regulate your mood and deal with difficult emotions, increase flexibility and coordination, improve posture, increase strength and fitness, and have better sleep.
